In which way do you mean "doesn't seem balanced"?

It's pretty much like vampires - they can win great, in the hands of a good coach they perform great.. and they can fall to pieces real hard.

slann are the 'everyone has very long legs' right? *shrug* I don't think they're over the top, never played them obviously though.

Yeah, dwarves are slow as can be. The problem is Claw, AV 9 plus thick-headed, Block and Tackle at the cost of a single skill-up base lineman. Albiet doubles needed, but just fire one and buy another if he doesn't double, am i right? (facetious face)
I can't see that working out well, especially with the propensity for POMB Chaos teams as it is in perpetual on Cyanide. I suppose it doesn't really make much difference since the option is already there with easier access on other teams.

And leap. Very long legs and leap on 'everyone' (except the Kroxigor big guy).

So they are the very definition of "over the top", since every player can go there - indeed every player leaps as easily as they dodge, so if you are going to move anyway..

    -

Fummbl shows that Chaos Dwarves seem to match Chaos and Nurgle in the "High TV Everyone is a Killer" grouping.

And no need to fire them - on single rolls they pick Guard, MB, Stand Firm, PO, Grab - so they can go all the way up to Superstar without doubles (and as soon as they get claw they head straight off to POMB, then return to the path ;))

Edit: Here's a pretty scary Chaos Dwarf team at 2340 TV - and not a single Claw: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=525202

SO does this mean my Red Dwarfers could enter a CTA, play a few games, get arse kicked, she'd a few pounds of excess weight, and come back for ccx leaner and fitter?! Well, obviously not Dave....

Yes you can. The limit is 2 CTA games between cups for previous competitors.

I should warn some people that attempts to lose weight to fall into a lower division can backfire horribly as Flanks's dwarves did when he threw out his Death Roller and still got stuck in Division 1... but with way less muscle :D

Yes, its worth pointing out Team Value is only one of the factors considered for seeding purposes. :D

Surely as winner of div 4, I should be looking forward to the next season in div3?

It's new seedings every season. If 75% of all coaches come in with rookie teams, all the experienced ones are likely to end up in Div 1. Etc.

Divisions 3 and 4 are usually identical due to the volume of rookie teams - only 1 team in each of those divisions last Cup had played any games. Division 2 tends to be those that have played 1 Cup, on average, depending on entries. Division 1 tends to be the most experienced of all the veteran teams.

I heard that if you slip GB a 5'er, he will put you in a lower division.

Please; for £2.50 and a pot noodle you'll do almost anything.

Its just for starters... the rest depends on the division... Division 2 is only a few more quid...

Now if with 1800 TV you put me in Division 4 that would probably mean a lot of cash to be handed over... :D

Or that he thinks you really sucks! So is more fair down with the rookie teams!

On the other hand. I think Commedia clocks in at 2050 TV.... So I don't think there is much chance of me being anywhere then div1.. (if not the first part is true of course, then I think div4 is perfect for me!) :D

At this rate I'll soon be announcing that in defiance of convention, Division 1 will be rookie and Division 4 for the elite. :D
