Ok I just read the rules.

The Clan Leader powers are a bit confusing but the rest of it seems to boil down to 7.5K gold between 5 teams, so 1.5K each or split differently. That is quite high for this sort of thing, and you can put players at level 2 but no higher. So you could have eg Norse zerker with MB and PO, or a Pro Elf Blitzer with Dodge and DT. It also makes teams like Chaos and Nurgle viable which they are not in the more normal 1200 ish range imo.

If I played I'd maybe go Khemri but will see if others want in first. @Trunkhead you play in this yeah?

The format is interesting. Am I understanding correctly that there is 14days to setup the matches?

If you are missing someone to fill the team I could maybe join but there is loads of better coaches to represent bbt.

I am not running this but if you want in go for it, tbh I am also quite happy to bow out and others can play instead of me if they are up for it. Yeah it's 14 days per 'round' that I could see, so 14 days to get the 5 clan vs clan matches organised but all the fluff stuff with the Powers will probably eat a few days of that.

Oh and I am pretty sure you beat my 2 * Cup winning Khemri 3-0 once so don't put yourself down re the 'better coaches' thing;).

I posted in their reddit thread to join a clan, but I’d love to help represent this group!

Yessir. My clan is the defending champs from last season. Happy to answer any questions. The clan powers seem daunting but are actually pretty easy.

We are (as in, my clan) anticipating that most "new teams" will end up somewhere in the 1300-1350 range. 5 teams at 1300 tv, would leave you with 1 million for powers, which is likely more than you'd need

Powers are all declared during the draft. It doesn't take more than 20 mins or so. You get 14 days because arranging 5 games can take some time. It's pretty common for most games to be done in the first week. But sometimes they take the entire time because there are clans in all timezones and often that can take a while to find a day. For example when my clan plays one of the Australian clans, scheduling is very difficult since they are like 18 hours ahead of us

You can also run multiple teams if you have a lot of interested people. As long as you have 5 guys who are willing to commit

Do keep in mind whoever is going to do the scheduling that this can take a decent bit of time as you need to schedule a draft with the opponents and discuss with the players what matchups work.

Different format that is still looking for what it wants exactly but should be great fun once they get that part spot on.

I read the rules, and like NN sayed, this format will take a decent bit of time to schedule. But i will have time for that with the end of LE tournament in 2 weeks.

So i want to join, and with Lizzies!

@Ilgoth do u will take the captain hat right? I don't want that extra responsibility, and im sure u are the right person for the job!

    So far coaches interested:
@Ilgoth - wants to bring in humans

@Regor - I assume you would be into lizardmen still? Still feeling like joining?

@Ravers - you seemed to be 50-50 about this, but I assume you have interest? Khemri still?

@TomSchnizz - dont sell yourself short, let me know what races you got in mind.

@RK Blaze - saw you listing as free agent, still free? What race preferred?

@Tirean - still interested? What races in mind?

@TravelScrabble - already talked with you but I still tag you because I can. Let us know, if you got the guts.

I would prefer that if we put this up, everyone in the team would be ready to use Discord where I would set up our own group chat

I'd need to think more about the team @Ilgoth , Khemri need to be done well otherwise they suck so would need to plan on the likely TV range. Norse would be a powerful option but I have played them a lot of late so will go with something else. I'm also fine with eg @TravelScrabble playing instead of me if he wants.
