This thread covers the basic rules and information about TMM Cups and Championships. The Structure of The Mighty Mithril Spoiler: THE STRUCTURE FOR CUPS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS Point 1. All Cups and Championships will be played in Knockout format. In other words, you lose and your competition ends. Point 2. As a basis, all competitions are 8 coaches in size. This can be increased to 16, if there is demand for it. Point 3. The Cups are all individual competitions. Point 4. As a basis, all Cups use "Race Drafting" to determine which races people play. Specific rules will always be told in the drafting conference. Example. You take part in the 1st Cup, there are no expectations for you to be seen in the 2nd Cup. It's all up to you. The Rules of The Mighty Mithril Spoiler: THE RULES FOR CUPS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS TMM Cups Point 1. The coaches schedule their games in a similiar way to Big Crunch 2. You have one week to schedule and play your game. Point 2. The greatest time extension for scheduling is two days. Point 3. If the game was never played, the game will be admined by TMM staff. - if there is clear evidence other did not do as much to schedule, the more active coach gets the win - if both coaches tried equally, TMM staff throws 3D6. With 3-10, home team wins. With 11-18, the away team wins. - if none of the coaches showed up to schedule, both teams are eliminated from the competition. Point 4. If the game has to admined, the result will always be 2-1 / 1-2. No double treasury or MVP at any admined game. Point 5. If one team disconnects, the game will be re-scheduled - if the game can't be re-scheduled, TMM staff throws 3D6. With 3-10, home team wins. With 11-18, the away team wins. - if there is any suspect the disconnection happened by coach exiting the game, the disconnected team loses automatically. Point 6. Ragequitting results in removal from the competition and the coach is banned from The Mighty Mithril for the next three competitions (both Cups and Championships included). TMM Championships (presume all above applies to Championships as well, below are rules specific to Championships.) Point 7. Championships are 1-day events, and their scheduling are different from the Cups. The first round starts at the preset time and all the matches should begin close to this time stamp. - the timetables are always set when the championships are arranged, with the aid from the participants Point 8. Disconnections result in a loss. This is due to the timetable. - there may be exceptions. The in-game settings, applies to all competitions. # No Kick-off events # 4 minutes per turn # no stadium enchancements, you may level up your stadium 'for looks'. The Mighty Mithril is a light-minded, friendly competition. All coaches are expected to show good sportsmanship towards fellow coaches.
