I was hoping the skill choice was obvious and that I was just being dense. Guess I'm back to pondering

I'd be very confused about why she doesn't already have Guard. Then I'd take Guard.

    My question,
the Dump off/Guard/Block Catcher just rolled another Double?!?! So what do I take? Skip and dodge so he'll live longer, Pass so he's like a developed plus move Delf Runner? MB to hurt BCs and take their balls? So conflicted. Skipping doubles is a sin against Nuffle but he should pick up dodge eventually.

Pass is actually an interesting option, since he becomes more versatile as your midfield forwarder for deep kicks, and also for when he picks up short kicks.

51 SPP Thrower rolls 5-5 Double
Current Skill: Accurate, Block, Safe Throw - I'm thinking... Strong Arm/Dodge?

    Rookie thrower rolls 2-2 Double
Current Skill : None - Should I just give him Guard?

    Catcher rolls normal.
Current Skill: Sure Feet, Sprint, Block, Next would be Sidestep/Diving Catch?

    Which race, which league?

But it sounds good. Experienced thrower might like move, in which case rookie could take SA. Sidestep for catcher.

I know that. I was asking about your team.

    :p

Anyway, that makes Diving Catch more interesting, since he's probably your one-turn-scorer. Sidestep is also good for one-turning though, so it's an open question.

And the thrower with +move/doubles can still get +move, since that allows him greater speed. Strong Arm is also a good pick though.

Rookie thrower.. guard is always an option for humans.

I've never seen a Catcher with dump off skill before. How do you find it? Are you glad you went for it over other skills? I'm not sure he needs pass as he will be dumping off on a 2+, but its hard to find other doubles that fit with the build. I think i would probably skip the double and go for dodge... but pass does sound fun.

Pass provides the best synergy with DO but he really should have Dodge by now

I'd give him dodge as well. Would keep your fleet of guards more mobile. He's already a great piece and needs some protecting as well. Then again, this coming from a pro coach, who'd give his left nut for a single guard guy...
