+MA on ballcarriers / receivers consistently wins matches. Nuff said!
Well, then. That turned quickly =) Thanks everyone. I wanted to take the MV from the start, I just needed others to blame when it goes horribly, horribly wrong.
oh sure just ignore the two best uwd coaches from that inter-league swiss thingy that happened what seems like years ago
We have learned our lesson about over optimism with them @TravelScrabble
My Amzaon-lino with DP&Wrestle managed to rob another MVP, and level. She rolled 6+5, so it´s a tough skill choice:
A) Take agility. It`s nice to have, but will increase the times I have to put players with guard into LOS
B) Take Fend. Put her to LOS. If she is not depitched, she can still foul.
C) Sack the player. If I had 150k to buy three more linos, this would be the best option. But alas, attrition is high in Nordland.
Take the AG and accept she isn't going to be fouling so costs 20K more than normal.
Having a player you can reposition on a 2+ with reroll is huge for Zons.
Just to add if you do go the +ag route with the linewoman. She can still do turn 16 fouls if scoring isn't an option or required on your turn 16.
+AG absolutely, goes well with the ladies and their usual problems later in the match.
Seems whenever I ask stat-ups, advise is always to take them. Usually I have taken the advice, but I am still not convinced in this case. It will mean a blitzer or guard-lino going to take LOS hits. And I have my star-catcher(ST4AG4) to handle sacking. (though always nice to have backups, life is often short for AV7...)
If you have 8 players that are better than a AG4 wrestle player then that is a good problem to have.
With my pro elf team I bench my blodge thrower , MB catcher and a block guard lineman on defence to keep the good players off the LoS.
You have a reliable bench with pro elves? It seems sospicious to me.
I have 16 players and 150K in the bank so don't know what is going on.
Players just aren't dying like they are supposed to ( Though I expect that to change on MD9 ).
Personally I would fire her. Ideally, you want your fouling piece to have just Dirty Player and no other skills, and to remain at level 2. Now she's hit level 4 already and it just seems bloaty to me, no matter what you pick. I think the extra inducements you could purchase is more value than AGI 4 + Bloat.
If I had bench, I would fire her. But at the moment I have 13players, with two MNG. And my second DP has niggle, would like to replace that one too.
I have a similar problem to JJape, my rookie skeleton rolled 5+6 on my BC2 khemri team.
Do I really want the AG? I already have 2xAG3 Thro-ra, and don't see and additional AG3 skellie to be that useful.
Other options are likely kick or 2nd DP.
Kick and DP are more effective on khemri skellies. They should be kept cheap for line duty, assists, and fouling. Dirty player 1st level, then fire them. One with kick is up to you if you think you can capitalize on it
Do Khemri get much advantage from kick?
I would have thought block or DP.
If you really want kick wait until you have a block guard skelly who is already off the LoS.
It isn't worth taking up a non LoS slot with a skelly who only has kick.
Ty for input. DP it is.
High Elf Catcher rolled double, he has dodge as previous skill. Question is - MB or Guard? I know normal convention is MB for catchers, and Guard for linos&blitzers. But I have zero guard and one MB beforehand. So I am considering getting one. (one lino has MB&AG5. Unexpected backfire of my plan of trying to get MBPO-lino, when I rolled +AG on second level)
I would go for guard. My 1st 2 doubles are always guard and then I would think about MB for the 3rd and probably still take guard unless the catcher already had wrestle.
The more guard on a elf team the better but you only really need 1 MB.
