Got a single level up with my Skavens after my last match against Pottsy: +AG on a Linerat. This strikes me as bloat as I would just be stuck with the worlds most expensive Wood Elf without the A access. I'm thinking I'd rather go with Wrestle or DP atm. Anyway it won't affect my next match against John as the bugger is MNG.

    Any thoughts?

I think I'd take the stat and hope he lives long enough to reach next level for possible dodge. Isn't the theory with all skaven players to get as much out of them as possible before they die in the next few games? You've got to give yourself the best possible chance to steal the ball on defense and score and an extra ag4 rat will aid in that.

Exactly what I was about to say. Take it and abuse him for as long as you can. That'll probably be about five turns (you're definitely not going to be stuck with him), but who knows, you might even get Block. Live the dream.

Right on, but it'll be on your heads when the little blighter croaks due to not having Wrestle. Not exactly a heavy burden to bear, but still... :p

So need some skill up advice for my NO BASH Woodies.

So one WarDancer has sidestep. The other got +Agi and now rolled 5+5. So that gives me choice of +AV, +Move or Doubles skill (MB or Guard)...

So what to chose ? Most linemen are unskilled... 1200TV still

Also got 130k Gold ... is it worth buying Treeman in No Bash league ?

MB sounds awfully good on that WD. Followed up with Tackle you have someone who can lay the hurt wherever you want to.

I was going for strip ball due to Agi... but now ... what combines better agi ? I sure think Mv9 is over the top and not as useful as a skill

To make AG5 awesome all you really need is Dodge and Leap and that's built in with a Wardancer. After that it depends on how you want to use her. Blitzer, mobile Guard and even faster super WD all are good things in my opinion, although the Guard may not live as long as the others.

Since it is NO BASH with a lot of low level AV... I took MB. Plus I bought a Treeman... lets see some Bashing ! :D

I'd go for MB. Particularly in a No Bash league, any opportunity to bring the pain is going to work wonders.

MB didn't work in the half game I managed before the net crashed again for the 5th time in a day... but the treeman managed well :D

Definitely take the double over the move. Block is good. Sure Hands is another option, although with Stunties all round, Block is probably the stand-out.

Nice, Lebe. I guess that makes you the only coach in the league with a Blitzer :p

Only 3 games into my Goblin career and I've enjoyed them so far (although the Graduate Recruitment Fair is obviously a far different kettle of fish to playing against non-Gob teams!).

Anyway, both my trolls (Kidman & Holmes) hit lvl 2 in the last match and rolled normal skills.
Never coached a Big Buy before, but Guard seems to be the obvious choice here, but I notice that Break Tackle is also quite a popular first skill for gobbo team Trolls. *looks in Dalryk's direction!* :)

Maybe take Guard on one Troll and Break Tackle on the other and see how I go?

With the comp being a different kettle of fish I don't feel like Guard and Break Tackle are as useful as they would be in a normal comp. Most gobs can simply stunty away from a guard player so not as consistently useful as in a normal comp. So far I haven't had one occasion where I've wished I could dodge a Troll and with loner having the potential to mess things up Break Tackle doesn't rock my world.

I do like Grab, because Side Step is going to be a popular first pick on gobs, and Strong Arm has the ability to make your TTM better and because of that I'd like it on a Troll a lot.

Personally though, on my Troll I just took Block :D Ah, doubles.

With me being your next opponent you may want to take this advice with a pinch of salt though :)

I have the same dilemma of what skill to give the troll...

Guard is useful to help gobbos block gobbos. Trolls to hit trolls.

I agree that break tackle doesn't seem as useful... but its good for hitting key places.
