A commissioned map I recently finished.
Spoiler: link to the map
What is this for again? Book? Game?
It's for a book that tells a story of three magician sisters, one of them at some point turns against the other two.
Does it have a name? Or is it classified?
Classified for now, but once it goes live for public I can share the info here.
I have had a course on entrepreneurship in my nursing studies, we had to make small presentation of teams corporation concept. My group came up with a modern old peoples hostel, and obviously I was forced to draw the idea.
Wow very nice. I really like the water.
Did a little 45 minutes practice, where rules are to use 5minutes per sketch and you can only use one brush with four colors. Obviously it was so intense that before reached my last sketch, sugarlevels went down.
Made art for matchweek thread, decided to do it in matte painting (take picture, and paint on top). Didnt do too much, just changed the time of day and splattered color.
Before - After
Been a while since I last shared anything.
Here some typical landscape shot.
The initial sketch, final image in the spoiler.
It took about 90 minutes.
The building on the left mountain disturps the overall picture and takes away from the experience of a far away hard to reach city. Well its just my 5 cents, like the setting
yea! It was very problematic, I suffered with it tbh, that is 4th or so version off it. Almost erased it, but decided to leave it in and try to learn. ^^
"I rode the side of the mountains
Made my way down, to the craggy home
And on the road, sang the fable of 'Marauding Fiend'
There stood a hallowed god
I asked for his holy words
'The fate to come, the impeding doom"
The fiend roared, to the beat of his hooves
As I prayed the spirit of Melitele"
A painting I did couple of days back, it's a tribute to the Witcher -series. Took bit over 3 hours.
Spoiler: The Painting
Now you're cooking.
Thanks Learnt a lot while doing it. Still couple of things I'm not happy about, but Im proud of it.
A picture that died while making it. Just didnt know what to do, so let it be.
I have a seminar on Friday where I talk about nutrition of older people. Made a poster for it.
How are his thoughts related to a hunk of bread?
The course is about the clients/patients in the elderly homes, and Im talking about their nutrition. Figured that showing home sickness in some form would be nice, so guess he is reminiscieing his small shack in the Lapland.
I'd never guessed... The closest to that I got that he is thinking about Red Riding Hood fairy tale
