Worst. Snotsworn. Ever.
Totally let the side down...
This is where your sig quote takes its full meaning Danton
Might as well ask me what I plan to spend my money on when I win the lottery.
I expect that I'll continue with the Snotballz for a while yet no matter where they end up on the ladder. But I can't say for sure. It might be an idea to play around with another race for a seasons before we move over to BB2 and have to start again.
If I win the championship I guess I'll definitely stick around. And if not, then it might depend on how much of a team I actually have left.
Btw, what do you plan to spend your money on when you win the lottery, Dalryk?
Has a stuntie team ever won the occ?
A Stunty team has never made it to Division 1, let alone win the thing. I'm going to give it my all, but I'm under no illusions about my chances.
Realistically, anything other than last place is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.
The challenges as I see them are threefold:
1. All the teams are very TV-efficient. I guess that's no coincidence, you're not likely to get this far giving away value to your opponent. The teams are carrying very few injuries, and have lots of capability packed into their lineups without blowing the budget.
2. There's lots of elfs, and I don't have any Diving Tackle. I don't even have any gumby goblins with SPPs who might be able to get DT in the near future. I don't currently have a Bombardier either, and given all the elves I think that's likely to remain the case
3. All the coaches are really good!
What's happening with the snotballz?
1-0-4 after five games.
The win was 2-1 vs the Khorne team.
1-1-4! They drew last night against Waleed's Dark Elves.
Yeah, so I've been pretty shit about posting updates on the Snotballz' progress in Div1. But as the record shows, it has been pretty poor sailing for our green heroes.
The Snotballz ended up with a record of 1-2-6, which saw them steal 2nd-last place. I said I'd be happy with anything above last place, and that remains a true statement.
My only regret is that both draws could easily have been wins if I had paid a little more attention. But in all my defeats I was well and truly out-classed and/or out-played, so the final outcome was probably a fair one. Most of the elf teams stole the ball from me far too easily, and the bash teams never let me get a foothold in the game. So there wasn't a lot to write home about.
But as previously stated, I'm happy just to have been there. And the challenge now is to try and build a team that can maybe take a slightly better shot on the crown.
More on that later....
Yes, Dalryk is back! Snotballz are back!
Amazing to even get a Goblin team to div1 in the first place, Dalryk. The Snotsworn are so proud *sniff*
Hang on a minute, weren't you the "worst Snotsworn ever"??
It is true all the same. Big props for even getting to Div 1 with the little green gits. Not coming last was also an achievement!
Worst Snotsworn ever = still a Snotsworn.
Any and all Snotsworn are good enough for the Snotballz. Even Barmution.
I will just echo what everyone else has said and say well done on the Div 1 and second to last place.
Now the real challenge is can you get back to Div 1 for a second time?
Anything is possible. The team is still in pretty good shape, but it will all come down to Nuffle in the end.
