There's a week left in the Crunch Cup regular season (plus one more game in week 4). I was going through the standings to get a head start on calculating the tiebreakers for the playoffs in the event that we need them. Looking at the Crunch Cup rules, they state that the BB Manager standings are to be used, which no longer works since BBM is gone. So we need a set of tiebreakers that operate independently of BBM. Note that no matter what happens in week 5, Danton and I will be in the 2/3 spots in Division 1 (in some order), and will face each other in the first round of the playoffs. So I'm not just picking something that would benefit me. I propose the following. Tiebreakers would proceed in this order: 1. TD Differential 2. Head-to-head among all tied teams. If a team has beaten all of the other tied teams, they win this tiebreaker. 3. TDs scored 4. Random Draw I realize that #3 gives a slight preference to agility teams over bash, and I'm willing to drop it if there's a preference for that. I don't want to do something like TDs scored + 1/3 of CAS inflicted right now. There's a lot more bookkeeping for tallying all of the CAS, and I would want to look at some data to determine a fair ratio between touchdowns and CAS, which I don't really have time to do right now. I would consider doing this in the future if there's a large amount of interest. Does anybody have any feedback on this proposal?
