I think Oscar was 5 or 6 when we got it. The main thing is its a dice game where you make a hand of 6 dice. Your first roll is all 6 so we use a dice cup for little hands. Weve played tokyo to death.
We use this dice tower for all our rolls: https://www.amazon.com/FoxTower-Standard-Tower-Board-Games/dp/B00HG733GI
Between me and my gaming group we have an outrageously huge collection so its hard to list them all. My current favorite is A study in Emerald 2nd edition. Such a brilliant game heavy on tactics and social deduction. Recently played Robinson Crusoe, and that was absolutely awesome too.
I really like that but it may be small for tokyo. You roll 6 dice, about the size of standard BB blocking dice.
It works fine even with Tokyo's larger dice. There is also a larger version of the same tower, I believe.
Which Robinson Crusoe? This one: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/121921/robinson-crusoe-adventures-cursed-island?
Thats the one. Fantastic game. Rules are a bit dense at first, but once you start playing its faily easy to follow
Not played it but yeah plenty of people I know love it. If you want to try it without forking out 400$ the base game exists as a mod for Tabletop Simulator (21.99 on Steam).
I also have few hyping it, kick-starters can be like that sometimes. Price point completely negates any interest i might have. I can buy 4-5 games for that much lol
I have it and love it, the quality is simply just better than anything else. Its a luxury I indulge my self
Having never heard of Kingdom of Death I just took a quick look online. Looks gorgeous... and completely inaccessable, both in price and complexity.
What i dont get is how can a game like kingdom death rise to popularity in the same world where people complain about a $2.50 dlc race.
Don't think tabletop gamers expect things for free to the same extent, but its honestly baffling to me, does seem a great game though.
That is a somewhat more realistic deathline than the first kickstarter. The first was 3 years late in fullfillment. I was at a stage when I did not belive that I would ever receive anything. But I have it now And they are next on my to paint list, right after all the Imperial Assault minis
I am really keen on a game called Dead of Winter, meta co-op game where players lead survivors in a zombie invested world. Looks great, anybody with any experience?
