This is a thread just to list all the possible Cyanide leagues to play in. It is a sticky now, it might become linked to from the "Useful Cyanide-related things" instead, but that's later.

Leagues will get edited into this post if you post them in this thread.

Blood Bowl 2 Leagues are handled in this thread: Link:

    BBT leagues

Crunch Them All [CTA] - A "pick-me-up" league that allows all teams whatever their background to join. Rookie teams that join CTA can also move on to other BBT leagues if they play six CTA games or less.
    http://bbtactics.com/forums/crunch-them-all-open-cyanide-league-t618/

Crunch Them All - League for Exhibition games [CTALE] - A short league (five games) usually run between Crunch Cups (see below). Allows rookie or CTA(zero to six games) teams, and is mostly seen as a way to get a few extra games in for the Crunch Cup, or to get to play something else a while.
Crunch Cup (It borrows this subforum from the CC)

Crunch Cup [CC] - An intermittent Cup league reseeded every time according to whatever arcane rules the current commissioner dreams up. Latest practice is to have eight teams per group during the group play part and then use a separate league for the playoff part if needed. Teams failing to reach the playoffs can usually partake in the "Crunched Cup" [CrC] playoffs instead.
Teams allowed into the CC are rookie teams, CTA teams (0-6 games) and teams from CTALE or previous CC (both of which can also have played up to two CTA games between seasons)

Big Crunch [BC] - A persistent league with promotions and demotions between tiers and divisions. Currently at 50 teams. Rookie teams only, nine games per season.
    Big Crunch

    International leagues

    Orca Cola Championship
The OCC is a persistent league with promotions and demotions between tiers and divisions. Currently at 240 teams. Rookie teams, or teams that have 5-9 games from their feeder league SSC (Snotling Soda Championship) are allowed. Started out Euro-Centric, but is pretty international now.
They also have some minor leagues occasionally running from the forums.
    Orca Cola Championship

    Old World Football
The OFL is a persistent league modelled closer to American Handegg, er, Football, with conferences and cross-conference play. Seasons are 16 games long before playoffs. The league uses plenty of third-party software and doo-dads to be able to allow play with races and star players not supported in vanilla Cyanide. (Like Slann, and the various chainsaw starplayers). Every third season the league is reset back to 1150 TV for all teams. The league was divided into one American and one European half.
They also had some other leagues running from the forums, like OFTL.
Old World Football League, new site

    -

    Iron Phoenix Blood Bowl League
The IPBBL empire hosts 4 tiered BB1 divisional leagues, an open league, several specialised side cups & tournaments, a Dungeonbowl circuit & even a league for Mordheim:City of the Damned!!! Also Blood Bowl 2.
Info & signup for the league & forums

    -

    Rage Mountain Blood Bowl League
RMMBL is divided into one American and one European half. They also have the Under Mountain, a training league, and the Valley of the Unbeknownst as a waiting ground for teams that have gone through Under Mountain.
    RMMBL Forums

    -

    FunLeague!
Has both Euro and American time zone leagues. The forums did have a notable presence of things to encourage you to not visit it from work, but they have now toned down that aspect.

    European leagues

    UK Blood Bowl League
League currently has 144 teams across 4 tiers. League structure is divided into two halves East and West. The top two from the premiership on each side go into an end of season playoff to decide the grand champion. Teams stay in the same side of the structure until they get relegated or reroll. Coach base is heavily UKcentric - there are a few stateside but the majority of games would need to fit in with a UK schedule.
    UKBBL
    -

    New Ogham League
The New Ogham league, is a small league that normally has 3 or 4 divisions of 10 teams each. They also run a knock-out "Super Bowl" tournament and some racial or themed tournies. It's well run and worth looking at if coaches are looking for a small private league with some decent coaches and a friendly environment. New Ogham BB League • Index page

    -

    RPS Leagues
They have two main leagues - the Divisions of Death and the Open. The general environment is very relaxed with ten day weeks and extensions granted for those that are struggling to get the fixtures played (within reason). Divisions are 4 teams in a shallow tier system which sees a lot of team movement so you aren't playing the same faces all the time. Divisions are decided by a live draw on Steam. The league operates a loose form of racial quotas to ensure a decent mix of races.

    North American Based Leagues

    USABloodweiser
Is a fairly small league (32 teams over 4 divisions). Play times mostly around the US East Coast, but there's a fair number of Euro players and Euro prime hours usually work out. Nightworm does a good job as commissioner.

    GOBBLN
GOBBLN is NA based (Eastern time zone) and 4 min turns; standard inducements.

    BBNA
Uses two minute turns and extended inducements.

    North American Western Blood Bowl
NAWBB is a west coast based league designed to mainly accommodate the HI, AK, Pacific, Mountain time zones. (GMT -10 thru -7). Has typically been running a three division format double round robin season with the division winners and a wild card advancing to the play-offs to determine the season champion. Uses extended inducements and the game week runs Weds-Tues. Also a member of BBATTL.

    Oceanian (Australian) Leagues

    LABBL
The Little Aussie Blood Bowl League (LABBL) is an Australian league which has been running for 16 seasons!

    BBATTL Leagues
BBATTL is a collection of leagues and tournaments where teams that have played in one can sometimes join another league (especially the tournaments). There are 14 member leagues in BBATTL. You can check the list here.

    Non-English speaking leagues

Liga Uruguaya de Blood Bowl Asociado
LUBBA invites all Spanish speakers to join.
    Foro gratis : LUBBA

    Franco Bowl
A French-speaking persistent league. Or rather, a French-speaking site with several persistent leagues in. I've heard that they have a limit on the amount of games your players can have played and still be on the team to prevent the glut of legends that some teams (Chaos, Orcs) can otherwise amass in long-term persistent leagues.
Franco Bowl - Le site officiel du FrancoBowl

    DBBL
A German speaking BB community site with main league -the DBBL- & various side competitions.
The main league resets every 4 seasons and with the 4 year cycle due to end in a couple of weeks, has 4 tiers with 17 divisions of 8 teams at the moment. Each season sees the teams play each other twice.
    Deutsche BB Community - Foren-Übersicht

    Dungeon Bowl Leagues

BBT (this site) has a Dungeon Bowl forum in which DuCTA (Dungeon Crunch Them All) is handled. - Dungeonbowl and Variants

Franco Bowl seems to have a Dungeon Bowl league - Franco Bowl - Le site officiel du FrancoBowl

OFL has a Dungeon Bowl forum, occasionally a league - Old World Football League

UKBBL is supposed to also have a Dungeonbowl league, but I still haven't gotten any links to either UKBBL forum.

    ---

Do you have any information about any of the above leagues (BB or DB), or links to them or other leagues, please post in this thread.

    Warning! NSFW, Adult Content
A persistent league with European and US conferences. Promotion, demotion and stuff.
What sets this league apart is the mood. Ever wondered how a "fear and loathing in Las Vegas" Blood Bowl League would look like? Ever wondered how a league ruled by the incarnation(s) of Tzench and Slaanesh would look like? Wonder no more, it's already here. It's "funleague". I would also call it the "warpstone league" because the rules are chaotic and the game is played in the spirit of "fun", which affects the rules: every exploitable bug is allowed and encouraged to be exploited, including recharging wizards, 12 players on the pitch and so on. Also, you're likely to find that pre-match and post-match and in-match banter is rather obscene and offensive for "normal" people. You've been warned.

A very nice and cozy multi-tiered league with American and European divisions. Good admins, high level of skill. Very active on the BBATTL circuit.

    Blood and Snot
    http://bloodandsnot.enjin.com/
Relatively small league (mainly European), several Tiers and an atmosphere that strongly encourages roleplaying and fluff aspects of the game. Tough discipline, strong etiquette and lots of fluff and fluff-based activities, like in-character negotiations with team sponsors and so on.

    Some information on UKBBL:

Another league worth a mention is the RPS leagues. They have two main leagues - the Divisions of Death and the Open. Divisions are 4 teams in a shallow tier system which sees a lot of team movement so you aren't playing the same faces all the time. Divisions are decided by a live draw on Steam. The league operates a loose form of racial quotas to ensure a decent mix of races.

The Open is a league which leans towards higher TV teams. Any team can be entered with a max TV of 1750, again with racial quotas in place. All teams are in one league and each team plays every team once.

Royalists is the European Timezone side of RMBBL - you don't have to live in Europe to be a part of it, but you will be expected to play your matches at a time which is convenient for European players - namely between approx 18.00 - 21.00 GMT on weekdays.

i think the new season will be starting around the 2nd week of jan.
(the rookie tourney 'undermountain' & USA 'Mountain' league are
