Amazon Team Roster Changes
- Piranha Blitzers changed from passing 5+ to passing 4+
- Jaguar Warrior Blockers changed from passing 5+ to passing 4+
Amazon teams were one of the strongest in Season 2 and have received minor benefits for Season 3. Both the Blitzers and Blockers have improved passing. Overall this is a very slight benefit that likely will not impact most games and it comes with no downsides to compensate. Amazon teams will remain really strong going forward.
While the Amazons definitely did not get nerfed, keep in mind several teams got Tackle added to their blitzers, Hit and Run is now a normal Agility skill, and Amazons are one of the teams with no Devious access. So they have lost Sneaky Git and Dirty Player, as well as the new version of Shadowing (which they would have done well with). The fouling meta has definitely shifted with this edition, and Zons are one of the losers there.
I reckon getting minor PA improvements isn’t enough to compensate. A very small overall nerf for me.
