Chaos Chosen Team Roster Changes
- Beastmen get a price reduction from 60k, improved passing (from 4+), gained Thick Skull, strength skill access moves to secondary from primary, gained the new devious skill category
- Chosen Blockers renamed to Chaos Chosen and gained Arm Bar
- Chaos Trolls gain passing skill access
- Minotaur goes from no passing ability to 6+
- Reroll price reduction down from 60k
- Leagues changed to the new Chaos Clash option
Chaos Chosen teams traditionally suffered from slow starts due to their somewhat high cost and lack of starting skills. These changes give them a slight boost, especially early in the team’s development. There is more flexibility in what you select for your starting roster. Beastmen are a bit more resilient and less likely to leave the pitch. Arm Bar isn’t a massive boon but it might see the odd return of some Star Player Points now and then to aid skill progression.
The biggest downside is losing primary strength skill access for the Beastmen. It’s much harder to build a killer blitzer or to get Guard to maintain a strength advantage over most other teams. Hard to tell if this is either an overall improvement or impediment, they will still be stronger in longer term leagues than short term ones and still less desirable for tournaments that doesn’t provide them with extra skills.
