Goblin Team Roster Changes
- Most of the team gains Devious Skill access
- Looney renamed to Loony, gains No Ball, Agility Skills move to secondary
- ‘Ooligan has a price drop, passing stat increase, gains Taunt
- Doom Diver has a price rise, gains Dodge
- Poger’s passing stat increases, loses Passing Skill access
- Troll loses Loner
So how do we feel about these in league play? Does it seem like they’re still only worth playing in NAF format?
The combination of no Loner on the Trolls, the new Swoop rules AND the Doom Diver gaining Dodge should make them the defacto Throw Teammate one turners, right? Doom Diver picks up Catch and away we go?
The fouling meta of the 2020 rules may shift due to the changes to Sneaky Git but I don’t see Goblins suffering too much for this. I think 60k Dirty Players should be rife and the primary focus for levelling linemen.
I’m tempted to be honest.
Hey Spragg! I’d be more tempted to play them in a league format than in a resurrection tournament. I think they are still going to be challenging in every format even with the improvements. Fun, but challenging.
