Mesmerizing Gaze
Once per game, Eldril may re-roll a failed Agility test when attempting to use the Hypnotic Gaze trait.
Hypnotic Gaze is one of the best traits in the game as it opens up a lot of options that most teams can’t do. Given Eldril’s high agility you won’t fail most attempts as long as you are careful about not attempting it whilst in a lot of opposing tackle zones. Generally you want to avoid that so the opposing team can’t just hit you next turn, as well as making the Hypnotic Gaze roll easier.
As this is a once per game ability, I would save it for a vital attempt where it’s going to then open up a hit on the opposing ball carrier, or secure you a touchdown if you are on offence. As breaking cages tends to be harder I would usually look towards that option. Ideally you’ll be doing the attempt on a 2+ anyway but at worse it could come in really useful for a 3+ attempt. The more tackle zones you are in making the roll harder the more likely you are to just waste this ability by failing the reroll attempt as well.
